Location: San Mateo, California

Role Detail: We are searching for a Protocol Engineer who will help lay the foundations of the company by designing, constructing, and managing all aspects related to protocol and node encompassing blockchain systems, crypto economic mechanisms, decentralized networking, and proof generation and verification. This role will also include developing and testing blockchain protocols and smart contracts, debugging and deploying large-scale decentralized systems, and overseeing internal and external smart contract audits.


  • 2+ years of software engineering experience building low-level protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, and consensus algorithms.
  • Experience in Rust or Go.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to write high-quality and well-tested code.
  • Experience working with cloud-native tech stacks (e.g., AWS/GCP).
