We are seeking a proactive and seasoned Senior Front End Developer with extensive project management experience and a passion for immersive web technologies to join our team and elevate Flight3's web development initiatives.

The Role:

The ideal candidate will ideate and execute front-end development projects that deliver stunning and effective web experiences. You will lead a team of talented developers, directing our efforts to create cutting-edge web solutions for our clients.

You will report directly to Flight3’s Chief Creative Officer, who can support you on strategy, team management, and service line development.

Thorough knowledge and fervour for Web3, blockchain, and immersive web technologies are imperative. This is a remote/hybrid role with the option to work from our offices in London, Lisbon, or Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

Your role will rotate around three core pillars: 

Excellence in Development:

• Drive results by developing and executing high-quality front-end development projects that deliver engaging and effective user experiences.
• Take the lead in fostering strong client relationships, serving as a key point of contact and trusted advisor, with the support of the project/account management layer.

Innovation:

• Keep Flight3 at the forefront of web development by continually refining development techniques, and leveraging emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in the industry.

• Implement and advocate for modern development methodologies and tools to enhance team productivity and code quality.

Culture:

• Cultivate a culture of excellence within the development team, leading and inspiring a collaborative group of professionals to deliver impactful web experiences and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to Flight3's group culture by sharing knowledge, fostering team growth, and actively participating in company events and socials.

This Role Requires:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Front End Developer or similar role, with a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality web projects.
• Extensive project management experience, with the ability to source and manage freelancers and liaise with clients effectively.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Three.js, React Three Fiber, Web3, and immersive web tools (e.g., Spline), with the ability to effectively leverage technology to create engaging web experiences.
• Proficiency in Webflow, JavaScript, HTML, JQuery, Vercel, Figma, and other UI design tools.
• Graphic design and/or animation skills are a plus.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a user-focused approach to decision-making and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive change effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field; additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
• Understanding of Web3 and experience within the industry is a massive plus.
