Entry Level Crypto Accountant

The Role:

We are seeking a driven entry-level Accountant who is eager to put their education to work and learn from the best. This individual should be passionate about the fundamentals of accounting and have an interest in the ever-evolving crypto space. This will be an opportunity to learn as you grow and join a team of crypto-centric accountants who get sh*t done!

Responsibilities:

• Able to manage multiple client engagements on an ongoing basis
• Handle ongoing client communications
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks Online daily
• Assist with vendor onboarding and process invoice entries weekly
• Process and lead month-end closings (i.e. reconciliations, journal entries)
• Work with client to process payroll
• Assist with cost basis tracking for cryptocurrency transactions and reconcile crypto wallets
• Produce financial statements and management reports for multiple business entities
• Prepare year-end 1099s
• Ad hoc tasks
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (recent grad is ideal)
• Desire to learn about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online is a plus
• Highly proficient with Excel/Google Sheets
• Able to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and vendors
• Works well in a team environment and independently
• Highly organized, efficient, accurate, and very meticulous
• Passionate about client services and aim to achieve high client satisfaction
• Proactive in keeping up with the evolving accounting changes in the crypto industry
