As Enterprise Services Engineer you'll join Platform Team and your primary focus will be implementation, maintenance, and management of Bitstamp Enterprise services. The role requires an understanding of infrastructure design, basic AWS cloud solutions, Open source, and Enterprise solutions know-how, and good communications skills. You will be working alongside sysops, developers, architects, secops, and other departments to continue to deliver excellence at Bitstamp.

What you'll do

• Design, maintenance, and management of Bitstamp Enterprise services with a primary focus on Atlassian stack.
• Automation of repetitive tasks or simplifying them.
• Monitoring infrastructure and resolving disruptions.
• Helping to discover new practices in the financial world.

On day one you'll bring

• Great knowledge of Jira / Confluence / Bitbucket administration.
• Groovy scripting.
• Intermediate knowledge of Linux.
• Fundamental knowledge of databases (MySQL and/or Postgres).
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• Active knowledge of English.
• Analytical thinking.
• Learning agility.
• Ability to solve challenges, and work independently as well as in a team.

We'll love it even more if you have

• Experience with the use of IaaS providers, such as AWS.
• Knowledge of information security best practices.
• Experience with large scale systems and running 24/7 services.
