Engineering Lead Fintech

About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-on Engineering Lead to join our fintech startup at a pivotal stage. You'll lead the development of cross-platform applications, integrate third-party financial infrastructure, and define the engineering culture from the ground up. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of financial experiences in emerging markets.

Your Responsibilities

• Architect and build multi-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Integrate third-party infrastructure such as Crossmint or Privvy for features like wallet services, KYC, on/off ramps, and programmable financial flows.
• Establish engineering best practices that prioritize performance, modularity, scalability, and compliance readiness.
• Translate product milestones into actionable technical roadmaps and sprint plans.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to transform complex financial UX into robust, scalable codebases.
• Hire, mentor, and lead early-stage engineers, helping define and uphold a strong technical culture.

What You’ll Need

• 6+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade applications, preferably in fintech, crypto, or web3 domains.
• Strong expertise in React Native, including mobile architecture and cross-platform deployment.
• Experience building API-driven applications and financial interfaces such as wallets, money flows, or payment systems.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML processes, payments infrastructure, FX, or yield-generating protocols.
