We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Product Management to join our team. As a key member, you will leverage your expertise in fintech and cryptocurrency to develop capabilities that align with the overall vision and product strategy set by the Vice President of Product.
In this role, you will work closely across the organization to ensure that product development is thoroughly researched, prioritized, and aligned with the business direction. You will be responsible for the implementation and go-to-market of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to bring our product portfolio to market.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain and cryptocurrency, be a leader with a mindset of innovation and creativity, and have a proven track record of developing and launching successful crypto products. The ability to execute is critical in this fast-paced and dynamic environment where opportunities abound.
This role reports directly to the Vice President of Product and is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in the EST time zone.

Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Director of Product Management at RockWallet, you will be responsible for leading the commercial product development and go-to-market execution of our crypto wallet product strategy, vision, and roadmap. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Identifying significant opportunities in the market and driving the product roadmap to make RockWallet a leading player in the crypto industry.
- Utilizing data to inform the product ideation and development process, ensuring that critical data is a core feature of our products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technology, and leadership, to define product vision, strategy, and priorities, and to ensure that products are effectively taken to market.
- Building and launching user-focused, high-quality, and innovative products that align with RockWallet’s mission and vision.
- Identifying commercial opportunities as the foundation of all product development and staying informed of market trends and identifying opportunities for future growth.
- Exercising excellent judgment in prioritizing between focusing on features, architectural improvements, and operational excellence.
- Defining and analyzing OKRs/KPIs to measure the success of our products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 10+ years of product management experience in the fintech, crypto wallets, and exchanges industry, with a preference for experience at a startup or high-growth company.
- Proven experience in product management within emerging technologies.
- A demonstrated track record of successfully creating and launching digital products, as well as experience in creating product strategies and leading product teams.
Candidate Profile:
- Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a product management team through effective communication and establishing credibility.
- Has a high profile in the crypto and digital assets community.
- Possesses significant functional knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem and players involved, as well as an understanding of existing retail payment solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity to identify new opportunities and anticipate how crypto can impact the payments ecosystem.
- Must have commercial and revenue-focused acumen.
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to influence and successfully build strong partnerships across teams and levels of an organization.
- Expertise in explaining complex concepts and technologies to a broad audience of external and internal partners.
- Intimate understanding of the market and the ability to deliver business results in terms of revenue, sales, and partnerships.
- A can-do attitude, full of creativity, and ready to do what it takes to meet RockWallet’s targets and objectives.
