Director Marketing, Korea
As the Director of Marketing for Korea, you will be responsible for driving Nexus’ growth, brand visibility, and community engagement across North America. This role involves creating and executing a localized marketing strategy, leading digital campaigns, building partnerships, and working with global teams to ensure a consistent, impactful brand presence in the Web3 and cryptography spaces. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the Korean market, with experience in tech, Web3, or blockchain marketing.

Responsibilities

Market Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan for Korean market to drive awareness, growth, and engagement.

  • Conduct market research and analyze competitive data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights for Nexus’ products.

  • Align regional strategy with Nexus’ global marketing objectives, ensuring impactful, consistent brand messaging.

Brand Development & Awareness

  • Position Nexus as a thought leader in Web3 and cryptography across Korea.

  • Localize brand messaging, website content, and marketing materials for Korean audiences.

  • Lead PR campaigns, event sponsorships, and community outreach to expand brand visibility.

Demand Generation & Campaign Management

  • Design and implement integrated digital marketing campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention.

  • Manage and optimize digital channels (social media, paid ads, email marketing, and SEO) specific to Korea.

  • Collaborate with product teams to launch and promote new features, campaigns, and services, including Nexus’ zkVM and Layer-1 network.

Partnerships & Community Engagement

  • Establish and manage relationships with key industry partners, thought leaders, and community stakeholders in Korea.

  • Lead engagement initiatives, including conferences, webinars, and local meetups, to build a strong Nexus community.

  • Partner with developer communities, educational institutions, and ecosystem partners to foster Nexus adoption and awareness.

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Build and manage a high-performing marketing team for the Korean region.

  • Work closely with Nexus’ global marketing, product, and partnerships teams to align strategies, share insights, and leverage resources effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior role focused on the Korean markets. Experience in Web3, blockchain, or technology is highly preferred.

  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Korea's digital landscape, consumer behavior, and marketing trends.

  • Skills: Proven track record in brand building, demand generation, and digital marketing, with expertise in social media, SEO, email, and paid channels.

  • Leadership: Strong experience managing teams and collaborating with global, cross-functional teams.

  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
