DevOps/ChainOps IT Engineer

Who we are

Kima is aiming to solve the cross-chain fragmentation problem. We’re building a protocol that will make the lives of Web3 developers, building cross-chain dApps easier. Utilizing an L1 blockchain, liquidity pools, and a unique economic model, we will deliver a safe, efficient and decentralized protocol, that will abstract the way liquidity is transferred across chains, and make it seem atomic and seamless. We’re taking a very unique approach to solve this fragmentation problem, and we want you to join us at an early stage, so you can impact our product.

What will you do

• Help Kima build its blockchain architecture
• Implement the architecture, and deploy our blockchain and code securely and efficiently
• Implement CI/CD, testing, and deployment pipelines
• Manage Kima’s infrastructure and IT resources

Who you are

• Experienced DevOps/IT engineer
• Experience in a blockchain project – especially on the architecture/infrastructure aspect
• Experience in blockchain networking – DNS/VPN/Nodes communication
• Experience in planning robust architecture, with focus on security and redundancy
• Experience with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Google, MS Azure a big plus)
• Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Github/Gitlab pipelines, or similar
• Experienced in developing code that supports deployment, monitoring, and control of what you deployed
• Able to operate independently, conduct research and offer multiple solutions to emerging problems
• Takes any IT issue seriously, and works hard to minimize outages

Nice to have

• Experience with Cosmos/Tendermint
• Knowledge in Golang, Node.js
• Architecture tools
