DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer -GCP Start date: ASAP Location: Fully Remote Duration: 6 Months Day Rate: £700 per day (Outside IR35) Working Hours: Monday-Friday: 4 pm-11 pm, Weekends 9 am-3 pm My client is on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to join their growing project team. Within this exciting role, you will be a key individual working within cross-functional engineering teams to build products and services.

You will be involved in:

• Building, Designing, and Supporting the public cloud infrastructure using GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Ensuring release aspirations are supported by ensuring the availability, performance, and readiness of test and production environments
• Automate wherever possible
• Enhance and maintain their monitoring and observability stack, ensure they can provide a real-time view on performance and availability

Experience required:

• Previous experience with cloud-native CI/CD pipelines such as GKE/Argo/GitHub Actions
• Experience using a language such as Python or PowerShell for scripting
• Previous experience on security enhancements through the cloud
• Familiarity with programming in a language such as Java, C# or GO
• Experience using Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform/CloudFormation
