Protofire is looking for a passionate and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and Linux systems administration. Familiarity or interest in blockchain infrastructure is a strong plus. This role will involve managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure deployments, maintaining high-availability environments both in cloud and on-premise, and collaborating closely with our development and infrastructure teams.
What You'll Do:
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native and on-premise infrastructure. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems performance, uptime, and reliability.
- Containerize applications and manage Kubernetes clusters.
- Work on automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Collaborate with developers to improve application performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response procedures.
What We're Looking:
- For 2–4 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering role.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ECS/EKS, etc.).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong background in Linux administration. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
- Good scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Proactive, autonomous, and willing to learn.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with blockchain infrastructure (e.g., node operation, validators, RPC endpoints).
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with distributed systems or Web3 technologies.
- Previous work on high-availability and fault-tolerant environments.
