Developer Relations Engineer (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to join our cutting-edge blockchain company. As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will serve as a liaison between the development community and our company, building and maintaining relationships with developers, help in fostering a thriving ecosystem, and in promoting the growth of blockchain technology. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Produce educational materials in the form of tutorials and video for Avalanche Academy, our free online resource to onboard new developers to Avalanche, and other easily digestible content.
• Build and improve developer tooling, such as the Avalanche Starter Kit, to make the developer experience seamless
• Hold workshops and presentations online and at conferences to different audiences showcasing the unique features of Avalanche
• Work cross-functionally with our engineering, marketing and product team to funnel feedback from the developer community back into the development process

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 2+ years Software Development experience - familiarity with Solidity and Go is beneficial.
• Excited about blockchain technology and familiar with the architecture of blockchain systems - familiarity with the concept of Virtual Machines is beneficial.
• Good understanding of Git and open-source development
• Experience in developer education, developer relations, and technical writing
• Strong written and communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to technical and non-technical audiences

Salary Range: $116,400 to $145,400
