Flipside is looking for a Design Engineer to join our small but growing design team to experiment, design, and build engaging front-end experiences within the ever evolving world of web3, blockchain, and decentralized finance. The ideal candidate has demonstrated skills in both design and front-end development and is comfortable with ambiguity while collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Here are some projects you could work on:

• Design and build new social features that generate network effects for Flipside.
• Explore and invent new front-end design patterns that push Flipside to be an engaging and delightful experience.
• Design and build an onboarding flow that onboards the next generation of crypto analysts into web3.

What we ask from you:

• Design and build highly interactive and engaging front-end web experiences for our website and analytics products.
• Craft beautiful, accessible, and performant components that other designers and engineers can reuse.
• Work cross-functionally with leadership, engineering, community, and design peers.
• Assist in designing end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple and elegant for our growing product.
• Solicit and provide feedback from partners to continually improve the quality of our products through multiple iterations exploring a range of solutions.

What you bring:

• You're a builder. You love to build creative products. You have a track record of high velocity shipping with a focus on experimentation.
• You have experience with front-end development, and can collaborate well with full-stack engineers. You’re familiar with HTML, CSS, and the Git deployment process. React or Javascript is a plus but not required.
• You value high quality well crafted visual design, and care about the details.
• You love tackling ambiguous problems and shaping them into clear goals.
• You’re comfortable navigating the fast moving pace of an early stage project.
