About the role:
- Develop and implement demand generation strategies and tactical campaigns that drive qualified leads that meet pipeline and revenue targets
- Consider non-traditional and experimental channels. Know your customers. Ideate, experiment, ship quickly, gather data, revise, do it again
- Own funnel reporting and analysis, including maintaining weekly product-level metrics dashboard. Get your data in front of teammates so they can leverage your insights on what’s resonating with potential customers. Provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to create campaigns that align with business objectives, revenue objectives and target customer personas
- Understand users and customers deeply. Host calls, listen to recordings, analyze data - become an in-house expert on who our customers (and prospects) are, what they need and what messaging resonates with them
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs and opportunities for growth
- Be opinionated on content strategy & messaging. Track your results and make data-backed recommendations on what needs to be changed or adjusted, and why.
- Work with our internal marketing team and external agencies to build out new landing pages and turn zenhub.com into a growth engine for new trials and inbound leads
- Amplify the reach of new content including blog posts, videos, podcasts, and more. Communicate what’s working and not working to help our content team optimize focus.
- Consider the sales team as a customer.
- Utilize marketing automation and CRM systems to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance and lead conversion metrics
About you:
- 5+ years experience in demand generation, B2B marketing, or a similar role with SaaS companies. Bonus points if you have experience marketing to a technical audience or have previously done demand gen at a developer tool company
- Entrepreneurial and autonomous, you’re comfortable filling in gaps and crafting strategy - even in the face of ambiguity
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated demand generation campaigns that resulted in measurable business outcomes
- Proficient in analyzing data and interpreting insights to optimize campaign performance and drive revenue growth. You take a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience with multi-touchpoint attribution models to determine the effectiveness of marketing efforts
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot) as well as Google Analytics
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinker with a passion for technology and a keen interest in staying ahead of industry trends
