About the Opportunity:

We are rapidly expanding our data capabilities and seeking a talented Data Scientist/Analyst to join our growing team.

• Data Warehousing & ETL:
• 1. Collaborate with the data engineering team to design, develop, and maintain a robust Redshift data warehouse.
• 2. Build and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest data from diverse sources, including trading systems, market data feeds, Mixpanel, and Google Analytics.
• Data Analysis & Insights:
• 1. Conduct in-depth analysis of trading data, user behavior, and market trends to uncover actionable insights and opportunities.
• 2. Identify and track performance metrics for business functions, such as trading volume, user acquisition, and retention.
• Reporting & Visualization:
• 1. Develop clear and compelling reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders across the organization.
• 2. Create self-service reporting tools to empower teams with data-driven decision-making.
• Advanced Analytics:
• 1. Explore opportunities for predictive modeling to forecast market trends, user behavior, and risk factors.
• 2. Design and implement A/B tests to evaluate the impact of product changes and marketing initiatives.
• 3. Investigate potential applications of machine learning for personalization, fraud detection, and other areas.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably within the cryptocurrency or financial services industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data warehousing technologies (Redshift preferred). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and statistical analysis is a plus.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets, trading strategies, and blockchain technology.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex data problems independently and collaboratively.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Passion for Crypto: A strong interest in the cryptocurrency space and a desire to contribute to its growth and development.

• Experience working at a reputable cryptocurrency exchange (e.g., Binance, Bybit, OKX).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
