This role will have the primary accountability of leading the development and development team of Tapioca's platform- taking Tapioca's ideas and carefully planning & executing them, managing the development team, and dictating tasks to developers. Expert level Solidity knowledge is a necessity! A successful candidate must have an excellent resume in decentralized finance, previous work in full-stack application development. You will be working closely with the product and founding team on creating the first iteration of Tapioca. The ideal candidate will also have prior experience developing applications with a strong focus on UI/UX. Expect to help to bring ideas to reality as a core member of a lean, passionate, and friendly team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, mock, and implement beautiful UI/UX
  • Ensure product features are built to specification
  • Write beautiful, extensible, and maintainable smart contracts
  • Responsible for testing and deploying the frontend and backend services
  • Set up regular communication with other developers, as well as tickets to track progress
  • Plan & dictate tasks to the development team
  • Assist in interviewing developers, assessing their skill level(s)

Qualifications

  • 4+ years related professional experience
  • 3 to 5 years as a full-stack developer
  • Master-level experience with Solidity, Typescript, and Javascript
  • Align a portion of your day with the business hours of Eastern Time Zone - UTC -5
  • Passion and eagerness.
  • Excellent communication skills.

What does success in this role look like?

In the first month, you firmly establish yourself as our go-to full-stack developer who solves problems and sets up regular communication/dictation of tasks with other developers. You establish a cadence of predictable, on-time delivery without cutting corners. In three months, you have earned the complete trust of the team and are delivering tasks, from design through development with minimal guidance, and are helping to effectively mentor new developers joining the team In six months, you have solidified yourself, you can work almost completely independently; ensuring other developers are working to our standards, also assisting other developers in gaining expertise in their requisite areas. The compensation package will include a top of the industry salary, team token allocation, and bonuses linked to company performance. The position is a remote position.
