We are an all-remote company, but prefer that you have availability during EU work hours to facilitate better collaboration with your core team.
We are looking for an experienced CTO or Head of Engineering to join our mission to transform digital collections. This will be a hands on role where you will be required to code. You will also be responsible for growing and shaping our engineering team, including frontend, backend, security and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- System design and architecture of our Marketplace
- Technical tasks, assignments and code reviews
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure
- Full stack development as needed
- Removing any blocker in tech development related activities
- Hiring and growing our engineering team
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (required)
- 4+ years of tech development experience (required)
- Previous startup experience and strong track record (required)
- 2+ years of blockchain industry experience (preferred). A deep understanding of the blockchain industry, tokenomics and decentralized product development would be a strong plus
- Previously worked on a dApp (preferred)
- Vast experience in CI/CD pipelines and architecture at scale (AWS preferred)
- Solid grasp of at least one backend language (Node.js/PHP/Python/Ruby)
- Solid grasp of a modern UI library (React.js/Vue.js)
- Vast experience in unit, integration and regression testing
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
