Consultant - Financial Advisory

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Consultant to join our specialist advisory division, working directly with the division lead. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience with diverse clients across the globe, including startups, high-growth SMEs, investment funds, and companies in the exciting emerging tech and blockchain space.

In this role, you'll provide crucial support on a variety of financial consulting and fundraising advisory projects. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Developing and refining sophisticated financial models and projections to support strategic decision-making and fundraising efforts.
• Leading comprehensive financial due diligence for investors, assessing target companies across various sectors.
• Providing expert support for accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Managing treasury functions and strategies for clients, optimising capital efficiency.
• Guiding early-stage companies in the preparation, review, and optimisation of investor materials, including pitch decks and financial summaries.
• Designing and modelling robust tokenomics structures for blockchain and Web3 ventures.
• Delivering insightful ad hoc advisory services, addressing unique client challenges with tailored solutions.
• Location: Cape Town-based with a hybrid model.

Qualifications/Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience

• Newly Qualified CA(SA) or 3-5 years of experience in financial services
• A strong understanding of core financial and accounting principles
