WalletConnect is the web3 communications protocol. Since our founding in 2018, we have empowered endless connections between wallets and apps, linking the web3 ecosystem together and fueling brand-new user experiences. We began with a single API and are now pushing the boundaries of wallet technology to build up a suite of APIs, all with our signature agnosticism (any wallet, any app, any chain). In March 2022, we raised our $11M Series A from USV, 1kx, Coinbase and other leading investors, and are looking to grow. The Role

We're looking for a community & social media manager to help drive wallet and dapp developer engagement for the WalletConnect protocol and educate our end-users about web3. The job includes the management of our Twitter, Discord, and other social channels, as well as playing a key role in events. In addition, you'll be working closely with our communications, integrations, and engineering teams to focus on the right audience and message.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Engage and grow our developer and end-user following on Twitter, Discord, and other social channels
• Create engaging social content that is both developer and end-user focused
• Be able to answer community questions, speak with developers, and support integration partners
• Be the voice of our community to the internal team so we can improve based on feedback
• Represent WalletConnect at various industry events
• Help organize community events
• Identify and engage with ambassadors
• Measure the success of community efforts

Must have:

• Passion for web3 and crypto / blockchain experience
• 2+ years in community management
• Excellent written English communication skills
• Strong Twitter presence and following
• Proven experience growing communities

• Experience managing developer communities
• Discord moderation experience
• Passion for customer service

• KYM (know your meme)
