Are you passionate about providing solutions to your client and want to work for a company that believes in Integrity, Competence, Value and Fun?   We are looking for a dynamic and results-focused Virtualization Technical Architect for our Toronto office who will utilize strong business and technical consulting skills to implement solutions that solve business challenges while creating the desired outcomes! You will demonstrate experience and skills in designing, architect and implementing solutions within the Long View virtualization portfolio.

A Day in the Life:

• Designing, architecting and implementing industry leading Citrix and Microsoft technical solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy consulting skills, both business and technical
• Creating detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, transition to operations information
• Working as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation
• Working with other Long View business units and practices to ensure projects progress efficiently and in a timely fashion towards successful closure
• Assisting with pre-sales engagements and qualification of sales opportunities
• Keeping abreast of relevant industry certifications and accreditations as aligned with key practices and technology partners

What You’ll Bring:

• 10+ years working as a subject matter expert in IT infrastructure, including Virtualization, Citrix and Windows infrastructure technologies at an enterprise and mid-market level
• 5+ years of experience in designing, deploying and supporting Virtualization technology such as VMWare and Citrix
• Fully well versed in scoping engagements, sizing infrastructure and executing on an approved design
• Fully well versed in ITIL based Change Management processes including CAB approval cycles
• Experience delivering Citrix Netscaler based solutions
• Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desksop, DaaS, Gateway and other Citrix
• Ability to provide technical oversight and leadership to a team of people
• Strong leadership and communication skillset
• Comfortable communicating solutions to internal and client stakeholders at various levels in the organization (managers, Directors, 'C' suite, Technical staff, Project managers)
• Experience working in a hands-on capacity with clients in the delivery of solutions
• Broad knowledge of multiple hardware and software technologies and strong experience in working with complex solutions comprising both
• Proficiency in workshop facilitation (envisioning workshops, art-of-the-possible sessions)
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time
