CG Texture Artist

About the Role:

We are seeking talented and experienced CG Texture Artists to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in traditional art principles and a passion for creating visually stunning stylized textures. You will be responsible for creating high-quality textures for a variety of assets, including props, characters, and environments.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed and stylized textures for props, characters, and environments.

• Utilize Substance Painter, ZBrush, and Blender to create high-quality textures.

• Collaborate with the art team to ensure consistency and adherence to the project's art style.

• Work closely with the modeling and lighting teams to ensure optimal texture integration.

• Rigorously QC your work to ensure a seamless experience for the next department. 

• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize textures for real-time or rendered applications.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques in texturing.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of PBR materials and workflows and good procedural texturing workflow abilities 

• Proficiency in Substance Painter, ZBrush, and Blender.

• Excellent traditional art skills, including a strong understanding of color theory, composition, and lighting.

• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality textures.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of stylized texturing styles and techniques.

• Experience in hand-painted texturing techniques is a plus.
