About the Role

Figure is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Capital Markets Transaction Manager to join our Capital Markets team. This role will be crucial in supporting efficient transaction activity related to loan trading of HELOCs. This person will play a key role in the daily support of the operations and transaction management. The role will focus heavily on the day-to-day functional support including the following: trade confirmation, TPR reviews, pool eligibility for trades, etc. Additionally, this person will be assisting with design & implementation of process improvements and system enhancements for this space.

 What You’ll Do

• Working directly with the capital markets team, maintaining deal pipeline, loan trade schedule and coordinating onboarding of all new clients. 
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to team
• Develop, maintain and distribute comprehensive T&R’s such that both internal and external partners are aware of any timeline slippage
• Conduct ongoing evaluation of the existing loan portfolio, including underwriting criteria and product parameters, to identify pools eligible for transactions on a regular basis
• Ensure asset reviews and data from third party diligence firms are accurate and reflect pool eligibility
• Review underwriting exceptions and documented compensating factors to ensure acceptability and address issues at the time of securitization
• Support resolution of credit conditions with Figure’s credit team and rebutting issues raised by TPR firms
• Support resolution of outstanding trailing document conditions and discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams and external partners
• Oversee trade process for loans trading through FIgure Connect platform, including trade confirmation and trade settlements in Portfolio Manager
• Assist in the closing of transactions on-time according to trade timelines and Figure’s liquidity needs
• Ensure counterparties have transparency into the transaction process including key dates and deliverables
• Perform ad hoc tasks as needed to assist with trade settlement and TPR process

What We Look For

• 3+ years of experience in residential whole loan space, collateral management, post-closing,  or warehouse lending or funding
• Strong understanding of real estate lending, particularly, Non-QM, DSCR or business-purpose mortgages
• Proficiency in Excel and loan origination or collateral tracking systems

Salary

• Compensation Range: $110,000 - $130,000/yr
• 25% annual bonus target, paid quarterly 
• Equity stock options package
• This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs
