Business Development Manager

Our client is providing an industry-leading decentralised platform that enables secure and efficient data management. They specialise in blockchain solutions which allow streamlined business operations and enhanced transparency, with their platform facilitating a real-time assessment of risk across chains, protocols, and liquidity pools, aiming to revolutionise the way that organisations handle their data. They are looking for an ambitious and versatile individual who is eager to gain a deeper insight into the fast-paced world of Decentralised Finance. The ideal candidate will already be exceptionally familiar with Web3 and will subsequently be able to translate their client’s solution into the prospects needs. You will be working directly with the client’s management team, researching the market, and analysing the DeFi ecosystem with the aim of creating leads. You should be a go-getter who can present and sell our clients product, with a main objective of onboarding new clients. In other words, you are a result-driven, well-structured high-achiever with an ability to close deals in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and identify new business opportunities
• Develop and execute growth strategies for business expansion
• Prioritise and manage a pipeline of potential opportunities
• Negotiate agreement terms with partners and clients
• Achieve quarterly and annual performance goals
• Expand the company’s client base by engaging in various ecosystems
• Create innovative value propositions for existing partnerships and relationships.

Requirements:

• Business development/sales experience of 3-5+ years
• Background in DeFi or TradFi required, with working experience in DeFi highly preferred
• Ideally hold a degree in business, finance, or technical disciplines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Must possess a self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset
• Good knowledge of Blockchain technology/Web3 and the crypto space is necessary
• Must be capable of comprehending and articulating technical concepts
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Proven track record of closing deals with identified prospects
