As a Business Development Manager for Supply Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regional business and partnership strategies to enhance the market position of the company's services in Japan. Your expertise will directly contribute to our growth and expansion, ensuring that we have the high-quality materials and services needed to meet our business objectives.

You will play an essential role in shaping our procurement strategy by analyzing market trends and supplier capabilities to align with our long-term goals. This position requires a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about sustainability and forging impactful partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development:
    • Develop and implement regional business and partnership strategies to enhance the market position of the company's services in Japan.
    • Identify new business opportunities and potential game integration partners from Japan, including Indie/AA games, AAA games, multi-title studios, and game publishers producing mobile, console, or PC games of any genre.
    • Conduct outreach, consult with new clients, build relationships with strategic partners, attend meetings, participate in bids, and close deals to meet company objectives.
    • Attend industry seminars and events to expand the network of partners and propose new collaboration opportunities aligned with the company’s strategy.
    • Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of each partnership, and provide regular reports on partnership activities and performance.
  • Sales and Partnership Process Optimization:
    • Provide feedback and collaborate closely with internal teams to adjust partnership strategies and sales processes for maximum efficiency.
    • Develop sales materials, guides, sales scripts, email templates, and communication procedures to support the business development team.
    • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring high work quality across the team.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in business development or partnership management in media, marketing agencies, or loyalty solutions, with a strong network of partners in mobile gaming, esports, game development, and game publishing sectors.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships, with excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, and a deep understanding of business operations, products, services, and client profiles.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and presentation skills, possessing a positive and proactive work attitude that brings optimism and energy to the team.
  • Fluent/Native Japanese & Fluent/Native English, able to work independently and in a team, and willing to learn and challenge oneself in a fast-paced environment.
