What we’re looking for

PeerIQ is looking to hire an operations associate to support PeerIQ’s accelerated growth path and operations. The Business Operations Associate provides analytical and operational support to drive decision making and continuous improvement in the organization’s financial, operational, and engineering operations. The position incorporates elements of FP&A, systems management, continuous improvement, project management and strategy at a growing fintech platform. The ideal candidate must have strong writing and PowerPoint skills, a high degree of analytical and modeling capability, solid critical thinking, and communication skills, be self-starting and adaptable, and have an obsessive attention to detail. Experience at a fast-paced consulting, financial, or technology firm preferred. 

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of our product, processes, and the lending industry
• Identify process improvements opportunities; propose and implement solutions
• Drive strategic projects across functions
• Drive our annual budget process and monthly reviews
• Support PeerIQ’s OKR process and track results to support key business decisions
• Manage the software and applications our team uses

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree; STEM field preferred
• Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Exposure to analytics tools and proficiency in Excel analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work on multiple projects in parallel
• Action oriented professional, with strong attitude for practicality and effectiveness
• Previous experience with an early-stage company or other experience building something from the ground up preferred
