Blockchain Tech Lead - Custodial Wallet

As the Technical Lead for our custody wallet team, you will own the design, development, and operation of the exchange’s core wallet infrastructure. You will lead efforts to build scalable and secure blockchain systems that meet global compliance standards, while driving innovation to improve transaction efficiency, system reliability, and user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a key role in shaping the technical vision and roadmap for our wallet platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Build and lead the wallet engineering team, responsible for hiring, mentoring, performance management, and process optimization.
2. Define the technical roadmap and design the custody wallet architecture supporting multiple blockchain protocols (BTC, ETH, Solana, Tron, Cosmos, etc.).
3. Lead the architecture and implementation of hot/cold wallets, fund sweeping, multisig, and signing services.
4. Collaborate with product, compliance, risk, and operations teams to ensure wallet systems are secure, compliant, and business-driven.
5. Continuously enhance wallet architecture to improve security, performance, and scalability.

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Security, or Cryptography.
2. 8+ years of backend development experience, including 3+ years in blockchain systems and 2+ years in technical team management.
3. Proficiency in at least one language (Go, Java, Node.js, Python, or C++), with experience in distributed, high-throughput systems (100K+ TPS).
4. Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals and multi-chain wallet design (BTC UTXO, ETH EVM, Solana, etc.).
5. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
6. Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.

Nice to Have:

1. Prior experience building custodial wallet systems at leading exchanges.
2. Fluent in English and Chinese, with the ability to collaborate in a global team.
