We are seeking a Blockchain Research Analyst to join our team in a web3-focused environment. As a Blockchain Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and providing insights on the blockchain ecosystem. Your primary focus will be on gathering data and conducting in-depth quantitative analysis, and producing reports that drive informed decision-making in the rapidly evolving blockchain industry.

• Conduct comprehensive market research on the blockchain industry, including cryptocurrencies, decentralised applications (dApps), decentralised finance (DeFi), and emerging blockchain technologies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and innovations in the web3 space, monitoring industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
• Gather and analyse data from various sources, such as blockchain explorers, industry reports, whitepapers, and news articles, to generate insights on market dynamics and opportunities.
• Produce in-depth reports, presentations, and briefings that provide valuable insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their research needs and provide timely and relevant information to support decision-making.
• Monitor and analyse key metrics, such as market capitalisation, trading volumes, and user adoption rates, to assess the health and growth of blockchain projects and the overall ecosystem.
• Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities and partnerships in the blockchain space, providing due diligence reports and risk assessments.
• Act as a subject matter expert on blockchain and web3 technologies, supporting internal teams and clients by sharing knowledge and answering research-related queries.
• Continuously enhance research methodologies, exploring new tools and techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data collection and analysis.

• Demonstrated experience and a deep understanding of the blockchain industry, including cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, and decentralised applications.
• Passion for web3 and the decentralised ecosystem, with a strong desire to stay at the forefront of blockchain innovation.
• Proven track record in market research, data analysis, and report writing, ideally within the blockchain or related technology sector.
• Familiarity with blockchain data sources and analytical tools, such as Dune Dashboard, blockchain explorers, CoinMarketCap, Glassnode, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets and communicate them effectively.
• Detail-oriented and intellectually curious, with a relentless drive to explore, learn, and uncover new information in the blockchain space.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting research findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Remote work capability, comfortable collaborating with a distributed team.
