Blockchain Developer (Solidity)

byterocket is a German software development and smart contract auditing company. Together with our clients and partners, we are working on a broad range of exciting projects in the Ethereum space, spanning from novel cross-chain protocols to custom DeFi mechanisms. byterocket is also part of Celo’s Climate Collective and takes a leading role in designing and building the technical foundation for a groundbreaking new approach to sustainably fund and regenerate our nature and society. We are looking for a motivated Solidity developer with coding experience. Ideally, you have the same thirst for knowledge that we constantly pursue. We are working on a variety of projects, so you will have a certain level of freedom on what you want to spend most of your time. One thing is very important to us: you will need to fit into our culture.

Requirements

• Practical and theoretical knowledge about software development
• Practical experience with Solidity development (with testing & deployment)
• Comfortable with Hardhat, Remix, OpenZeppelin, Git, Ethers.js/Web3.js, …
• Up to date on the latest developments in the space

Bonus Points

• Prior experience with EVM sidechains (Polygon, Celo, …) and cross-chain bridges
• You are as obsessed with web3 as we are
• You are based in Europe
