Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Backend Engineer - Blockchain - this is an onsite position in Los Angeles, US.

We are a blockchain protocol that enables anyone to create permissionless markets to incentivize any action. It has quickly grown $0 to over $3B+ in AUM in the past 6 months, and is growing at a rapid pace. Seed raise from Coinbase, NFX, etc.

Currently a 6 person team - high-ownership, autonomy, and ability to be part 

of a rocketship team. The team is in-person, so must be willing to be in the office in LA.

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to lead the re-architecture of our backend and database. 

You will:

  • Scale the Royco application
  • Build developer tooling for the Royco SDK
  • Manage deployments
  • Implement observability (metrics, traces, and logging) for improved debugging

3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes (or equivalent).

2+ years of experience with a backend language (preference for TypeScript & NestJS).

Happy to work in-person in LA 5 days a week

Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, query optimization, and database modeling.

Familiarity with data analytics platforms (The Graph, Dune, Flipside, Snowflake) - doesn't need to be crypto related
