The Role

We are hiring a senior Automation Engineer / Knowledge Systems Architect for a time-boxed 4-week engagement to design and ship a unified internal Knowledge Hub.

This role is highly execution-focused. You will stand up a centralized, searchable knowledge system that connects Notion, Slack, Telegram, Pipedrive, Linear, GitHub, and Read.ai, with lightweight assistant interfaces for retrieval, summarization, and decision tracking.

The outcome is a production-ready Notion Knowledge Base, automated ingestion pipelines, and Slack and Telegram assistants that materially reduce time-to-context across teams.

This is not a research or strategy role, it is a hands-on build with clear weekly milestones and a hard handoff at the end of week 4.

What You'll Deliver

• A robust Notion Knowledge Hub with clean data models across Business, Product, Engineering, and Operations

• Automated ingestion pipelines from:

  • Slack (threads, decisions, key messages)

  • Telegram (project group context via bot)

  • Read.ai (meeting transcripts → summaries, decisions, action items)

  • Pipedrive (clients, tiers, stages)

  • Linear (customer issues, projects)

  • GitHub (PR summaries, changelog entries)

• A Slack assistant MVP for semantic search, summarization, and decision retrieval

• A Telegram bot for structured context capture (/note, /decision, /todo)

• Clear architecture diagrams, runbooks, and handoff documentation

What You'll Deliver

• Design and implement the Notion system architecture, including:

  • Databases, relations, rollups, synced blocks

  • Templates and automations

  • Clean separation of Clients, Meetings, Decisions, Requests, Tasks, Integrations

• Build an indexing and ingestion layer using APIs, webhooks, scheduled jobs, and queues

• Normalize multiple sources into a unified document schema with source references and permissions

• Implement data transforms: summarization, entity extraction, decision/action mapping

• Handle de-duplication, tier mapping, and canonical client identity

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• Advanced Notion systems design (databases, relations, rollups, automations)

• Strong automation / backend engineering background

• Hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, cron jobs, and data pipelines

• Experience integrating tools like Slack, Pipedrive, Linear, GitHub, Read.ai, Zapier, n8n, or custom workflows

• Strong instincts for data modeling and information architecture

• Excellent documentation and async communication skills

Nice-to-Haves

• MCP or agent-based workflow familiarity

• Experience building contextual AI chat / assistants over internal knowledge (LLMs, embeddings, RAG-style flows)

• Embedding-based search, vector stores, or prompt engineering

• Lightweight UI or admin dashboard experience

• Chrome extensions or internal tooling experience
