AML and Transactions Monitoring Specialist

• Expected duties:
• Conduct KYC, CDD, EDD, SOW and other AML/CFT related checks;
• Investigate, review, analyse flagged client accounts;
• Conduct PEP, sanction and adverse media screening;
• Carry out client ongoing monitoring;
• Review any flagged transaction within blockchain analytics tools and other systems, and carry out relevant investigations;
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports;
• Draft and implement procedures and guidelines for the first line as may be required;
• Carry out third-party due diligence and risk assessment and assist in due diligence requests from third parties;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration of fraud prevention measures into business processes;
• Stay up-to-date with the relevant regulations and industry best practices and assist with transposition of the legal requirements into measures and controls;
• Provide assistance to CCO, MLRO and Legal;
• Participate in ad hoc projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge and Skills requirements:
• 2+ years experience in a similar role
• Prior experience within a regulated VASP is an advantage
• Knowledge of AML/CFT framework.
• Knowledge of EU regulations e.g. MICA, Travel rule etc…
• Experience with blockchain analytics tools
• Fluent in English both written and verbal
• Proven analytical and investigation skills
• Professional qualifications in AML and crypto such as CCAS, ICA are considered an advantage
