The role
- As part of the SettleMint APAC team, you are a hunter & closer to new deals/clients and partnerships focused on the Oceania market (and ideally based in Australia)
- You are free to use/experiment with any sales & marketing tools/stack that would be effective for you and your markets
- Direct (ABM, consultative sales) & indirect (partnerships, co-selling/marketing) sales strategies should be utilized to achieve your goals
- To be successful, having the following would be extremely advantageous:
- knowledge/willingness to learn about cloud & web3 technologies & the SettleMint platform
- knowledge/willingness to learn about the client's business & competition
- a pulse on the market, competition, and latest happenings
- Although you may be working remotely, you are not alone. Expect support from the entire SettleMint team: your manager, tech team, marketing, and even the C-level executives

Responsibilities
- Hunter & closer role, delivering monthly new sales targets by managing a pipeline of opportunities generated by marketing as well as your own prospecting (this should be primary)
- Nurture prospective clients through the full sales process from product demonstration to trial and close
- Build and nurture client relationships throughout the sales cycles
- Contribute to the growth and development of our product by providing feedback from conversations with your customers and prospects
- Engage with the sales and business leadership to coordinate marketing and sales activities
- Update the CRM to document all activities on opportunities and follow-ups
REQUIREMENTS
Must have
- Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in full-cycle sales for B2B Enterprise SaaS, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in selling to Enterprise customers in Oceania, particularly in the Banking, Financial Services Institutions, and Public Sector sectors, is preferred.
- Experience in blockchain / web3 or the passion to learn more about the space
- You are results-driven, tenacious and a strong team player.
- You are comfortable using marketing automation platforms and CRM (eg. Hubspot)
- You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills and can liaise effectively with senior stakeholders
- You have experience in negotiating and closing SaaS deal sizes of at least USD 100k-250K/year in terms of annual contract value (ACV) and sales cycles of 4-8 months
