Founding Engineer (Remote)

Haven is a very early-stage start up building the future of Web3 communities. We're building a SocialFi platform that makes it easy for Web3 community builders to launch and run a token-powered community. Our vision is to be an ecosystem for community that are powered by token economies – rewarding creators and community participants. The product is pre-launch and we're looking to expand the team in preparation for launch. We're looking for an experienced full-stack engineer to be on the founding team as a Founding Engineer to lead the technical vision for the product. What you'll do:

• Work closely with our lead designer and founder to help inform product strategy and implement the backend and front-end for new features
• Collaborate with a smart contract engineer to build out on-chain mechanics
• Help architect and systems design the product implementation
• Be one of the first members of a really scrappy team working within Web3

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or a related field
• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a track record of building high-quality products
• Crypto/Web3 knowledge, ideally active in the crypto space for some time
• Proficiency with front-end and back-end development using Javascript and Node.js
• Some familiarity with Solidity smart contracts
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills
• Solid leadership and communication skills
